(More customer reviews)I don't generally write reviews, but I saw that this magazine hasn't been rated yet and wanted to change that. I enjoy collaging, and use magazine subscriptions as a source of clippings. I got a subscription to this magazine through a rewards site, so my expectations weren't all that high. Still, I wasn't expecting to be as blown away by this magazine as I was. Flipping through it, it was immediately clear that the photography was superb. The photographs capture the things that make traveling worth it. They are enough to make me feel a tremendous sense of wanderlust. What I wasn't expecting was how compulsively readable the articles are. The quality of the writing is consistently good, and the topics addressed are genuinely interesting. It's not a giant list of places to go, places to stay- it's about the spirit of travelling, of experiencing new places. I don't know if I'm describing that well at all. Still, there's a distinction between this magazine and its competition, one that's very welcome. It's already become one of a handful of magazines I look forward to seeing in my mailbox, and one I plan on reading for a very long time. Highly recommended.
