(More customer reviews)overall I am pleased with the product. It is sturdy and it looks FANTASTIC! My beef was putting the item together. directions are given as picture only, and putting this item together consists of 3 steps (4 if you count the placing of black chips in the screw holes).
it begins with step one-how to assemble the middle part (the v shaped portion), the second step is everything (except the top mantle) else. So you are looking at this "picture" with about 15-20 steps all crammed into one step! Good luck understanding that picture! I wish I could scan the directions so you would see step one (easy enough) step 3 (easy enough), the second step is a doozie! I eventually figured it out, so if I could do it, anyone can certainly do it. It is a project, but well worth it when you finish.
It is good quality wood, very sturdy, and it is attractive.
