I receive this magazine every month, and I enjoy it so much, this year I sprung for this instead of my NRA junior membership. (Confounded age limit that mandates I possess a junior membership only!)
There are insightful articles written by excellent journalists. Are they from the position that the Second Amendment be protected, and that Americans have the right to keep and bear arms? Yes. Is that bad? No. With the liberal media covering each and every aspect of the opposite view(s), it's refreshing to have an alternative viewpoint presented.
These articles and columns are no cheap piece of journalism. They are concise, well-written, and informative. While mostly covering the political side of the firearms debate, there is also reviews of the latest products, and a spotlight story on one of the many famous, fun, or interesting firearms located at the NRA's headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.
My favorite section is The Armed Citizen, the section where there are a half-dozen stories each month of a citizen who, using his or her firearm, prevented a criminal from committing a terrible crime. A wife protecting her children from a murderer, or a father protecting his child from a rabid dog, or a man preventing a rapist from successfully raping a woman.
To get the full side of the debate, you should buy this magazine. You won't regret it.
