(More customer reviews)January 2010 is slated to be a phenomenal year for Sacramento Book Review, exhibiting its trophy in a new and ever-brighter light. The new format is sleeker than ever, boasting of some 198 reviews. This marks a new era for book review publications. New publications are popping up all over the place, but few remain in business once the crunch is on. Sacramento Book Review is something special, defying the odds. For the first time, a neat monthly publication establishes a unique platform to test the merit of the latest books hot off the press.
I can't say enough good things about Sacramento. Recently, the 1776 Productions, the company that publishes Sacramento, launched two new additions to its quest to spread the word about new reviews. In the summertime, San Francisco Book Rewiew was born and more recently, the San Antonio Book Review took its first breath. These follow in the same format as Sacramento, making their debut in style.
I think we have a real winner here. Heidi Komlofske, owner and co-publisher of Sacramento Book Review, is a frequent guest speaker on the Sacramento radio station Capital Public Radio KXJZ 90.9 FM Insight with Jeffrey Callison. Publicity seems to drive this organization even further into the limelight, making it unequalled in its field. I see great things for this, joining the ranks of such big names as Kirkus and Publishers Weekly.
