(More customer reviews)EDGE is by far the best games magazine available. I had a subscription for 9 years until I left the UK and moved to the States. Since moving I have been looking for an equivelent magazine but so far nothing comes close. If you are a twenty-something or thirty-something gamer then this is worth the investment.
The EDGE staff are clearly well respected in the industry and it shows in the quality and depth of the interviews and features they run. EDGE also frequently runs features and suplements on getting jobs in the industry so its worth a look if you have any plans in that direction.
It DOES have a UK focus, so expect reviews on console games to come round twice - once for the inital release (Japan/US) and once again for the UK release to make sure the conversion to PAL and 50Hz didn't harm the game, but other than that I don't think there is anything that would should put off a US audience (save the price)
