The contests are great too, I have won some prizes. I recommend you read Blaze if you love horses like I do. They also have a really cool website and I've found penpals there.

An educational magazine all about horses and the young people who love them. Targets kids aged 8-14. Introduces readers to incredible new discoveries about the horse, about themselves and about the world they live in. An excellent resource for parents, riding instructors and youth leaders as well.
