There is a little bit of everything in it: bead weaving, lampwork, fused glass, precial metal clays, etc. Lots of great ideas with techniques, variations and patterns. Great gallery photos of all sorts of things. I always get lots of ideas and learn at least one new technique from every issue. One note, you need to have a basic knowledge of bead stitches, glass techniques, etc. to really understand this mag. I would only recommend it for a beginner if they want to look (and drool) over the amazing photos. Other mags like "Bead and Button" have a lot more techniques and projects for a beginner.
