(More customer reviews)I bought this scale after reading about it in "O," Oprah Winfrey's magazine. It is a good, reliable scale with a calorie and nutrition computer that can help you keep track of your daily calorie and food group intake.
It is not, however, purse size. The scale is no smaller and lighter than the Salter food scale that I use at home. It folds up, and has a nice little carrying sack, but is tote-bag rather than small-bag size and weighs about the same as my home scale. Also, my on-line diet program is easier to use than the Salter computer and, not surprisingly, also includes more foods and features.
While I will definitely take the "Nutri-Weigh and Go" with me when I travel, it is not going to travel with me on my daily commute to and from the office. I carry too much "stuff" with me already, and the "Weigh and Go" is just not portable enough to make the cut. (Hint: use the office postal scale to weigh your food; the mail room clerks will laugh at you, but it works.)
