(More customer reviews)I bought this as a gift for my mother and stepfather to use in their bathroom. It does a great job. I liked that it would hold all sizes of magazines and catalogs without them slipping out, and the washable canvas bag seemed like a good plan. It seems to be solidly constructed, but it's not like we're taxing it by opening and closing it all the time.
I will say that I wanted black, and the picture looked black, but this item is the pewter one. I didn't return it because it was my mistake, and the pewter goes fine with the decor, but just be aware that it is a lighter gray than what is shown in the picture.
Review update, 2/7/2011: After just over a month of use, the rack no longer stands up on its own. Upon coming back here to see about product support, I realized that on my rack, the cotton lining does not have the opening on the bottom to attach it to the bottom supports, which would keep it upright. I'll revisit my rating if I can get this fixed.
