It would be hard to build one of these for less than $50 considering the time it would take to build and stain.
Ours came stained beautifully, and installation was very easy with the instructions included.
Great product at a great price. I may buy another one for our upstairs bathroom!!

Hand crafted from solid whitewood. Whitewood is a very nice version of pine, free of knots and other defects. You're going to want one of these in every toilet room, especially the guest bathroom. Makes for a fascinating conversation piece. Lots of people keep magazines in their bathroom, but you can be one of the unique few to have one that recesses in the wall! Make sure that you have a wall you can locate this in and that you have stud spacing appropriate for it. Standard spacing of studs is 16 inches center to center, but these Magazine Racks have been designed to fit well within that spacing and need only 13 inches to clear. You'll find many magazine racks, but you can't find anything like these in a store or online except at our website. Choose whether you want your item finished in satin white enamel, gloss white enamel, gloss black enamel, satin black enamel, ivory satin enamel, pebble satin enamel, almond satin enamel, canyon rock fleckstone finish, or soapstone fleckstone finish.
