(More customer reviews)The Magazine Rack functions adequately. It holds the magazines and some books. However, it does not have a back. In other words the contents rest on the bare wall behind it. At the very least, it should have had a finished plywood back. Speaking of finishes, if it had a finish,it was barely detectable. In other words, it looked unfinished. That was no problem. I went to the hardware store and bought a small can of polyurethane finish and applied two coats. Now it looks fine. It does apply to the wall with 2 screws because it is so light. If you want to buy this type of wall rack, I would suggest that you look for one which has a better finish and has a back on it.
