itemization of the different pieces and the quantity of each. I'm a 72 year old man who has lost much of his manual dexterity due to age and Parkinson's disease. Had I known in advance this item required complete assembly I never would have bought it. It was a gift for my wife and I expected it to be a completely assembled item to be taken out of a carton and put in place ready to be used. My surprise and disappointment was complete. It took me better than four (4) hours to put it together. To say the product description by Amazon was lacking and misleading would be a gross understatement of fact. Once assembled the product is what I had expected it to be.
It was made in China and this may explain part of the problem with the inadequate instructions.
Since the item is shipped from North Carolina (which is the origin of much fine furniture) I wrongly believed it was manufactured there. Amazon should have stated the country of origin.
I would hope that in future Amazon would include a "Statement of Assembly" for all products that are not fully assembled along with the country of origin if it is not the United States.
