(More customer reviews)We bought this to go in our newly remodeled bathroom. I believe its the same as (or very similar to) the InterDesign Axis Magazine Rack & Tissue Stand sold by a third party seller here on Amazon as well.
In general it looks pretty nice--but if you're looking for a goldish-brown bronze finish, this isn't it--it's more like Venetian or Cast Iron.
The construction is relatively sturdy, but it's pretty unstable. It won't tip over on it's own or anything, but the simple act of putting one hand on the roll when tearing off a wad of TP is enough get it to start tipping forward. I can't see loading down the magazine compartment helping much with this either (since it's just adding more weight to the side it already has an inclination to tip towards). If you do happen to agitate it, sit there and wobble for quite some time.
On a positive note, it does fit the Charmin Mega Rolls, which often don't fit on TP holders.
If you're set on a bronzish finish free standing toilet paper holder with a magazine rack, this is about the best option as of Nov '09. There are some higher quality ones if you can accept chrome or nickel finishes.
